Dying Light Has Its Release Date Moved Up

Looks like we’ll be able to get our zombie invasion parkour on a little sooner than expected.

Techland, the developers behind the Call of Juarez and Dead Island series, will be unleashing their new zombie-centric game, Dying Light, on January 27th, 2015. The game was originally set to release this fall before being delayed till February 2015, so pushing the date up is a welcome sight.

Dying Light is a first-person open world survival game. The game features a unique ‘Natural Movement’ system to let player traverse the world with ease in parkour style, giving the title a sense of flair that many other games focused on the undead lacks. Combined with a day and night system that has players rummaging for goods during the day and fighting for survival against aggressive hordes at night, and you have a recipe for a compelling zombie experience.

You can  pre-order the game now from its official website and receive a free DLC mode called Be the Zombie. In Be the Zombie, players can take control of a Night Hunter zombie and battle it out in an asymmetrical multiplayer mode with your friends – a must have for diehard zombie fans.

Dying Light will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC come this winter.
