Today Koei Tecmo released a new TV commercial for Shin Sangokumusou 8, that will be released in the est as Dynasty Warriors 9.

The trailer focuses entirely on one of the most popular among the five tiger generals of Shu, Zhao Yun. It's a little cheesy, with an "armor donning" sequence that definitely feels like those you'd see in tokusatsu shows, but that's also what makes it cool.

On top of the explosive visuals, we get the theme song "King of the Street,” which is part of the album titled "Dinosaur" by the ultra-popular Japanese rock duo B’z. It might surprise those who are new to the series due to the unusual pairing of ancient China and rock, but this too is Dynasty Warriors.

Dynasty Warriors 9 launches in Japan on February 8th, exclusively for PS4, while the western release will happen just a few days later, on February 13th. It will also get two additional platforms in the west, coming for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
