Today Koei Tecmo released a new batch of artwork, screenshots, and videos of its upcoming open-world Musou game Dynasty Warriors 9.

First of all, we get the introduction of five new characters: Li Dan, Lu Su, Huang Zhong, Zhurong, and Meng Huo. They are shown in both their battle outfits and in their civilian clothes.

On top of that, five new trailers were released, each showing one of the already-revealed characters in action. Included in today’s batch are Xiahou Ba, Guan Yu, Daqiao, Zhou Yu, and Man Chong.

Last, but not least, is a batch of screenshots showcasing some of the stronger enemies that we can encounter in the game’s open world beyond simple soldiers and officers. Those include powerful bandits, black wolves, white tigers (actually the Japanese text says “a tiger with a bluish coat” but that looks white to me), and white bears. Defeating these powerful enemies can grant loot that is more valuable than what you would normally receive, yet the encounters against them will be challenging.

You can enjoy all the assets below.  If you want to see more, you can you can also check out another batch of character trailers from yesterday, the latest release of artwork showcasing a few more characterseven more officers in the previous batchanother gallery of screenshots showing another group of characters and hideoutsmore recent screenshotsanother batch, and more gameplay.
