Dynasty Warriors Online is Now in Open Beta

Are you a fan of inaccurate Chinese history?  How about horrible voice acting, hundreds of useless enemies everywhere, and old-school hack n slash action?  If so, you’re in for a treat, as the online, MMO version of Dynasty Warriors, Koei’s neverending hack n slash franchise, just entered open beta.  If you’re still not motivated enough to get on it, Aeria Games has offered quite the incentives for playing the beta: they’ll be giving out $4,000 worth of prizes to thirteen of the top 50 players by beta’s end.

The grand prize?  A fully loaded Alienware M17x notebook computer.

As a fan of these kinda games, I’m cautiously downloading this one to see if it’s just as fun as all the other Koei hack n slash games I’ve played.  If you’re interested, go ahead and download the client here.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
