E3 2010: Twisted Metal Rams Its Way Onto PS3 in 2011

In a surprising conclusion to Sony’s E3 conference, David Jaffe made his way on stage – with none other that Sweet Tooth – to unveil a little something PlayStation fans have been waiting for this generation: Twisted Metal. The series is making its triumphant return to PlayStation 3 in an all new iteration developed by Jaffe’s newly formed studio, Eat Sleep Play. In addition to ramming vehicles and doing Compton-style drive-by’s, players will also be able to fly helicopters in the new Twisted Metal. Yep, that’s right – you’ll be shooting from the skies this time around as well.

I, personally, have a chubby for the game and can’t wait to get the front of my vehicle stained with the blood of my foes in its 16-player online multiplayer. Twisted Metal for the PlayStation 3 will be out sometime in 2011. Those of you who are currently at the E3 show floor will be able to get a taste of the game as it available for hand-on time. I hate you all.
