A trailer has been shown for Star Trek on PlayStation 3. The footage was the game in its pre-alpha stage and was said to be all in-game. The Star Trek trailer has a striking resemblance to Mass Effect, which comes as no surprise. A nice touch was that they used a track from the Star Trek (2009) film's score as the trailer's background music.

No release date was shown or announced, but the trailer did say "Coming 2012." Will it be early or late 2012? I expect it to be late 2012, only because I would avoid releasing this game anywhere close to Mass Effect 3.
