Miyamoto came on stage during the Nintendo E3 Press Conference to announce that Pikmin 3 will be coming to the Wii U.
The game will feature several control schemes that vary the way the game can be played. If a gamer plays Pikmin 3 with a Wii Remote and Nunchuk, gamers can target enemies for more strategic depth. When using the Wii U controller, gamers are given an over head view of the map and can use the touch screen for quick switching between Pikmin leaders.
The game also features a challenge mode where gamers can compete to get the most fruit. Pikmin fans only have a little more to wait until this title is out on the Wii U.
