After some pretty sizable gameplay shenanigans from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Sony's Adam Boyes announced that Adeline, who was the protagonist in the PlayStation Vita game Assassin's Creed: Liberation, will be available as a playable character on the PS3 and PS4 versions of the new title.

No more information was given, or if she'll be available straight off the disc or as DLC. The wording Mr. Boyes used inferred that she will be exclusive to the Sony platforms, but it really hasn't been confirmed. Yes, it makes sense. Yes, she was a much better protagonist than Conner from Assassin's Creed III. Don't judge me.
