E3 2013: Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma’s English Trailer Hints at Localization (UPDATED)

on June 11, 2013 10:08 AM

While developer Arc System Works has yet to whisper a word about an international release of their hit Japanese fighter Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma, a new English trailer has been released for the game. This suggests that a western console release of the game is going to happen. What’s more interesting is that this E3 trailer was published to the PlayStation YouTube page. In Japan, Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Will the same thing happen with the game’s insinuated western release? Let’s wait and see.

Update: Since the time of this writing, Aksys has confirmed that Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will indeed be released in North America. It will be available next year for the PlayStation 3, and there’s no mention of an Xbox 360 version of the game.

Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will be available in Japan this October. View the new E3 trailer below.
