E3 2013: EA Showcases Need for Speed: Rivals and its All Drive System

EA showcased their newest racing game, Need for Speed: Rivals, which will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Need for Speed: Rivals main gameplay feature is the “All Drive” system that allows for other players to sort of invade your game, even if you are playing on single player. You can also choose either play as a driver or a police officer, which gives you different objectives.

The trailer below shows us how you can start off playing a track alone as a driver and others playing as cops can invade and pursue the original driver, until it becomes a full on multiplayer experience. But even though the concept is very unique, I wonder if you’ll have an option to turn it off when you want to simply enjoy the game by yourself?
