E3 2013: New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn CG Artwork Looks Absolutely Fantastic

While the newest trailer of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn involved a surprising lack of CG and was made almost entirely with gameplay footage, Square Enix just released a batch of high-resolution CG artwork that looks absolutely stunning.

We see the beautiful landscape of Cohertas┬átreaded by Chocobos, the game’s honorable villain and cover boy Gaius Van Baelsar, a charge of Imperial Magitek Armors, a powerful roegadyn paladin, a beautiful miqo’te bard and an absolutely adorable lalafell white mage.

As usual Square Enix knows its CG, and this time they didn’t disappoint as well. Now all I have left to decide is which one of the artwork pieces that you can find in the gallery below will go on my cellphone’s wallpaper first.
