E3 2013: Nippon Ichi Already Has Plans to Develop for PlayStation 4

on June 13, 2013 6:09 PM

In an interview with the Japanese site Dengeki, Director Sohei Shinkawa from Nippon Ichi had some nice things to say about both next generation consoles, but really seemed to zero in on the PlayStation 4. He was asked a smattering of questions about both Microsoft and Sony’s platforms, but mentioned that he was happy with the price and thought it was a great thing for consumers.

Finally, he was asked what the company’s plans were for development on the PlayStation 4, and said that they were already in the development process on some next-gen titles for the system. This bodes well indeed for fans of titles like Disgaea. Perhaps we’ll see a game from that franchise announced for the PS4 before long?
