E3 2013: Rocksmith 2014 Includes Virtual, Reactive Bands (UPDATED)

June 10, 2013

Ubisoft just announced the latest game in their Rocksmith franchise – Rocksmith 2014. Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains was on stage at Ubisoft’s E3 conference demonstrating its virtual band mode, which creates a band for you to play to that reacts to how you play.

There wasn’t much shown or said about it, however, but it was mentioned that it is coming in October of this year, which likely means it won’t launch initially on next-gen platforms.

UPDATE: Trailer for Rocksmith 2014 added below!
