E3 2013: Tearaway Looks Promising with Visuals and Gameplay Full of Color and Charm

I finally got a chance to properly check out Media Molecule’s newest IP, Tearaway, and to say I wasn’t disappointed is an understatement. Tearaway is a PS Vita exclusive that is coming out for North America on October 22nd and October 25th for Europe.

The game goes like this: you (the player) are a Sun god of sorts that must protect the main character, who is a messenger trying to deliver a letter to you. You can use both touch screens to attack enemies and move obstacles to help clear a path for the messenger, which is a stroke of genius considering the role you play in Tearaway. The game’s art style is based off of papercrafts and the amount of creative detail that has gone into this beautiful world is simply astounding.
