E3 2013: The Elder Scrolls Online Beta Exclusive First on the PS4, Full Game Coming Spring 2014

on June 10, 2013 10:45 PM

Sony just announced that they’ve teamed up with Zenimax and Bethesda Softworks to bring the upcoming MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online to the PlayStation 4 next Spring. The PC title may release before that (although a release date is unconfirmed), but it’s cool to know that, aside from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the PS4 is getting yet another full-fledged MMO.

They also mentioned that the beta for the game would be coming first exclusively to the PS4, whatever that means (even before the PC…not sure I follow…?). Regardless, sweet news, huh?

P.S. I know this is a Sony conference, but The Elder Scrolls Online is also coming to the Xbox One. (See the trailer below.)
