A brand new trailer was shown for the HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker at Nintendo's E3 conference today. This trailer showcases the game's brilliant new visuals, and the game looks far better than ever before. Furthermore, Iwata detailed how the game's Tingle Tuner - a feature that allowed the original GameCube version of the game to connect to the GameBoy Advance - is being redesigned for the Wii U version of the game. Now, instead of the Tuner, players will get a Tingle Bottle from Tingle.

The Tingle Bottle will allow players to leave messages in bottles and throw them into the sea. Other players will then be able to find these bottles in their own games and read the messages. These messages can also be shared via the Miiverse, to make for a fun new multiplayer experience in the game.

Finally, we have a release window for the game. Wind Waker HD will be on store shelves this October. View the new trailer below.
