The ESA added a new product category to its official E3 2016 website, “Virtual Reality > Xbox One,” and interestingly, it’s already getting populated.
Maximum Games is the developer of Loading Human and Lichdom: Battlemage. Readily Information Company is an outsourcing studio working for big publishers like Tencent and Epic Games. 3DRudder produces a walking VR controller that you can activate with your feet, while Rebellion is known for the Sniper Elite series.
Incidentally, all four companies are also listed under “Virtual Reality > PS4.”
This possibly ties-in with the rumored Xbox One “Scorpio” allegedly being compatible with Oculus Rift, but we should take it with the customary grain of salt, considering that the E3 website isn’t always totally accurate.
Apparently, there is also a “Virtual Reality > PS3” category, and unless Sony has some really weird surprises in store, I doubt that one is believable.
