E3 2021 is almost here to surprise us with massive video game announcements; however, should you expect anything on 'Beyond Good and Evil 2' from Ubisoft at the event? Well, here's what we think.

Each year, the gaming community eagerly waits for the biggest video game trade event, E3. Several video game publishers take part in this event to announce or reveal their upcoming titles, and this year is going to be no different.

Alongside other mammoth studios like EA, Guerilla, Square Enix, and Bethesda, Ubisoft will also appear at E3 2021. And if there's one game that everyone wants to see at the Ubisoft Forward, it's Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Beyond Good and Evil 2: What do we know so far?

Ubisoft announced the much-awaited prequel of 2003's Beyond Good and Evil back in 2017. Compared to the first game, the sequel offers a much better role-playing aspect in a massive and beautiful open world.

Ever since the game's reveal trailer got released in 2018, everyone in the gaming community is eagerly waiting for Beyond Good and Evil 2. For almost two long years, Ubisoft was tight-lipped regarding the game's development. But fortunately, that changed in October 2020, when Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said (Via VGC) that the game is "progressing well."

Other than that, we know nothing about Beyond Good and Evil 2's development. The studio released two Assassin's Creed games in the last two years, but we still don't have any potential release date for Beyond Good and Evil 2, which is just sad.

Will Beyond Good and Evil 2 be at E3 2021?

The studio confirmed that it would host the Ubisoft Forward event on June 12 at E3 2021. So, it's obvious that we'll definitely see some big announcements from Ubisoft; the question is, which titles will be a part of the event?

Well, the next major Ubisoft title that's coming in 2021 is obviously Far Cry 6. However, on May 28th, 2021, Ubisoft already revealed Far Cry 6's gameplay and gave a concrete release date. Meaning, there's nothing major to discuss regarding Far Cry 6 at the event. So, the main highlight of the Ubisoft Forward event at E3 2021 could very well be Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Also, as we've previously mentioned, in October 2020, Yves Guillemot finally broke the silence on Beyond Good and Evil 2. So maybe, just maybe, he spoke about the title because the studio is ready to reveal something about it at E3 2021.

We know that you very badly want us to be right, but that's only our prediction, so it's best not to get your hopes up just yet.
