Square Enix has officially announced Guardians of the Galaxy at E3 2021.

With Square Enix attending E3 2021, the bar has been set rather high on what the publishers will show off this time around. New details surrounding Final Fantasy 16 have been somewhat expected by fans, but we didn’t know if Guardians Of The Galaxy would get a mention.

Thanks to insider and journalist Jeff Grubb, the rumour surrounding the title was put on high alert when Grubb suggested that Square Enix are indeed working on a Guardians Of The Galaxy title. Many leaks don’t come to fruition in the end but this time, Grubb was absolutely correct.

During Square Enix’s E3 2021 presentation, viewers received a teaser trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy in which we saw plenty of gameplay from fan favourite characters, Starlord, Groot, Rocket and the rest of the gang.

Square Enix's Guardians of The Galaxy showcased plenty of combat in the story-driven title. Although the game doesn't appear to have the film's stars returning to voice, they've nailed the characteristics and humour from them all.

Fans will be pleased to know the Guardians of The Galaxy game will be all single-player and looks to have learned from the mistakes of Marvel's Avengers.
