Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – The Story So Far

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was announced back on August 22, 2020 by Warner Bros and DC. It is under development by the acclaimed studio Rocksteady, the minds behind the critically and commercially successful Batman: Arkham games.

The story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. They take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill, well, The Justice League. Restrained with lethal explosives implanted in their heads, all four Super-Villains have no choice but to band together and carry out this untenable assignment as part of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X.

Players can experience the story as a single player, switching between characters at will, or team up with 3 other friends in multiplayer co-op.

The game is scheduled to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2022.

Will Suicide Squad Be There At E3?

DC and Warner Bros are going to have a “gaming field year” with 2022. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League already has a lot of hype going into it, not to forget that Gotham Knights is releasing next year too.

The big question is whether the Suicide Squad game will actually release in 2022. The game was announced almost a year ago and the pandemic hasn’t exactly gotten better for a lot of countries. Assuming that development and production took a hit, it is most likely that the game gets delayed to 2023.

This brings us to the question of will Suicide Squad be there at E3. For now, all we know is that the Warner Bros. Presentation for E3 is just set to be Back 4 Blood without anything else listed there.

What does this mean to whether Suicide Squad will be there at E3? This news from Summer Game Fest does make it extremely improbable.

Update: A Warner Bros. spokesperson has told TechRadar that the only game the publisher is expecting to reveal during its showcase is Back 4 Blood. This information was also corroborated by the Summer Game Fest Twitter account.
