While E3 2012 is scheduled to return to the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 5 – 7 (mark it on your calendars, people!), there is no guarantee that it will stay there beyond that.
According to the L.A. Times, the Entertainment Software Association’s contract with the Convention Center is up after 2012, and with the potential of a football stadium being built on top of the current space, they may not want to return.
Rich Taylor, association senior vice president of industry affairs explained that while there is a strong relationship with Los Angeles, they are exploring other options.
“We don’t want our attendees to have to rappel across a construction quarry to get to a booth,” he said.
Personally, I think E3 could use a few real life minigames.
