Earlier this year, Electronic Arts announced that its EA Access program would soon finally be arriving on PS4. While the launch month for the service was confirmed to be July 2019, at the time, a specific date wasn't announced. Well, as of now, we do have a specific date to go off of.

EA announced recently divulged that as of July 24, the PS4 iteration of EA Access will finally be arriving. The service, much like its counterpart on Xbox One which has been available for years, will cost you $30 per year or $5 per month.

If you're unfamiliar with EA Access, it's essentially a subscription program that gives you free access to many of EA's most popular games. Some of the more noteworthy additions to the lineup as of this moment include Battlefield 5Star Wars Battlefront II, Titanfall 2, Madden NFL 19NHL 19, and many, many others. And if there isn't a recently published EA game that is on the service right now, it's more than likely to arrive in the near future. Here's looking at you, Anthem.

In addition to getting a vault of past games to play, EA Access also allows you to outright purchase EA-published titles at a 10% discount. Lastly, you can also gain early access to new games that EA releases prior to release via free trial periods.
