EA Releases More Details on the Four Expansions in Battlefield 1’s Season Pass

We've been patiently waiting, and now it's here. Battlefield 1's Season Pass details delve a little deeper into what we can expect from the game's action and historical context.

Have you been wondering what’s going to be included in Battlefield 1’s $49.99 Season Pass? EA has just announced the breakdown, which includes sixteen new maps, twenty new guns, and new elite classes to be released over the course of four expansions.

Beginning with the They Shall Not Pass expansion, which has already been given some detail, players will find the French Army battling in Verdun, and they’ll have to fit into the tight quarters of Fort de Vaux. Then, the war will bring players to a tank assault on the Aisne River.

In the Name of the Tsar will be the second expansion, and will introduce the Russian Army’s front, allowing players to ride alongside the Hussars in the Brusilov offensive, as well as charge into the chilling archipelago and snowy ravines of Lupkow Pass.

World War I’s amphibious warfare approaches with Turning Tides, the third expansion of the Season Pass. This release promises combat in the land, air, and sea. Naval battles and beach raids await as players are brought to the beginning days of the Gallipoli offensive.

Lastly, Apocalypse promises to include some of the most infamous battles of WWI. The way EA describes it, it seems to have saved some of the most intense content for last.

“Conquer bitterly contested ground with brutal tools and unique weapons born out of desperation and deadlock. Never before have the nightmarish horrors of the Great War been closer as you descend into hell.”

Battlefield 1 recently got a rather large update, most notably raising the class rank caps from 10 to 50.
