With eight of their biggest games in one humbling package, it seems many gamers just couldn’t resist the allure with the sales numbers of the latest new bundle from EA and The Humble Bundle team that released yesterday.

After starting The Humble Origin Bundle this week, an EA-centric bundle that includes Dead Space, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2: Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, and if paying more than the average $4.67 price, Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3, the collection has already drawn in almost $3.5 million in sales, and a total of over 700,000 purchases of the bundle.

As a collection offered to support charities such as the Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, and San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the bundle also offers the chance for gamers to give back and help others, and get a nice deal on some new and old games in the process.

All games in the collection come with activation keys for EA’s Origin game service, while all except Battlefield 3, Dead Space 3, and The Sims 3 come with Steam keys as well. The soundtracks to Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 are also included, regardless of the price paid for the bundle.

The EA Origin Bundle continues for another 13 days, so get out there, support a good cause (or multiple), and get some awesome games in the process.
