EA Games has confirmed that they indeed will support both Project Natal and the PlayStation Motion Control when both launch later this year. EA has announced that both peripherals will be supported by various EA Sports titles which isn't very surprising. Look for EA Grand Slam Tennis and the EA Fitness Games among others to join in the ranks of games supporting both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Looks like Wii is going to get some serious challenge in the motion controller department later this year. With the obvious disadvantages for the Wii, it won't be long until they feel the heat. There will be more developers hoping on board to be sure. Here is what EA had to say:

"With respect to the motion control games on [Project] Natal / Xbox and the Sony Motion Controller, we will be supporting both of those platforms at launch," explained EA COO John Schappert in a conference call. "We don't have any titles to announce right now on those, but we will be supporting those and we are hopeful on those."

Looks like the motion controller fad is preparing to hit us full force. Hopefully more traditional gamers will be around to see it take a back seat to the more traditional controller.
