Electronic Arts yesterday announced that it's Star Wars MMO, developed by Bioware, will miss it's 2nd release window. Originally scheduled for the 2010 fiscal year, it was announced today at the Credit Suisse 2010 Technology Conference by EA's CFO Eric Brown that The Old Republic isn't expected to ship until fiscal year 2012, which begins April 2011.

Reasoning behind the longer wait weren't given, although the game is the largest project in EA's history, with millions of dollars already being spent on the game. Hopefully, the fruits of those developers labors pay off in the end.
