As introduced last year, EA’s Access program for Xbox One and PC has allowed subscribers to earn early access to new releases and discounts on upcoming titles, while one of the company’s big releases for the fall will not be included in those benefits.
Speaking with GameReactor, EA confirmed that Titanfall 2 will not be included as a part of the EA/Origin Access programs on Xbox One and PC, with the information also backed up by the fine print on the official EA Access page’s FAQ that mentions the game specifically being excluded from the service.
With the title’s exclusion from the service, players will not be able to obtain early access to the title before its release on October 28th, 2016, get access to free demos, or be able to purchase the game at a discount.
EA clarified with GameReactor that the title “might get included in the future, but at least not this year” for inclusion through EA and Origin Access.
Titanfall 2 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28th, 2016.
