EA Hosting Playtest Sessions in North America Next Week for Early Hands-On Time with Star Wars: Battlefront

As one of the most elusive projects from EA at the moment aside from the impeding reveal coming this month at a special Star Wars celebration, EA and DICE’s revival of Star Wars: Battlefront is set to release later this year and if you happen to live in Vancouver or California, you can take an opportunity for early hands-on time with the game.

In a new post through Electronic Arts Canada’s Playtesters Facebook page, details were revealed that EA will be hosting special playtest events on Friday, April 10th in both of the company’s locations in Redwood Shores, California and Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Facebook post listed that playtest opportunities on that date will be in sessions of about 3-4 hours for hands-on time with the title – while later comments from the Facebook group moderators mention that playtesters will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement at the event, the studio did mention that playtests “are run frequently,” and more playtests may be on the way in the coming months leading up to Battlefront‘s release.

Star Wars: Battlefront is currently in development by DICE and EA for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with release scheduled for later in 2015.

If you are interested in participating in either of the playtest events, you can click here to register for the Vancouver playtest event, and head over here if you want to register for the Redwood Shores location: both events are scheduled to take place on Friday, April 10th, 2015.
