During Electronic Arts' financial conference call related to the quarter ended on September 30th, Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson talked about the possibility of releasing remasters of some of the company's older games.

"In terms of remasters, it's something that we look at. In all cases we're trying to figure out what is right for the player. If this a world where there are games that we have in our catalog that players really want to play in a remaster variety, and we believe that we can add the kind of enhancements that make that worthwile for the player, then we will do that.

Nothing to announce today, but certainly you can imagine with a portfolio as deep and rich as ours, and with a playerbase as engaged as ours, that we're getting lots of requests right now. "

Personally, I would certainly love a remaster of the Mass Effect franchise. Wilson did not provide information on which games could be remastered, so we'll have to wait and see if they'll announce any, and what they will be.
