Publisher Electronic Arts has established a new studio on the west coast city of Salt Lake... er.. City, Utah which will be the "state-of-the-art" home to their newly formed, and named, EA Salt Lake team. The newly formed studio, which can't be considered "fresh blood," has worked on casual titles under the EA Play label for popular franchises like Littlest Pet Show, Monopoly, and NERF. Since 2006, EA had controlled a facility in Bountiful, Utah. As of now, however, their entire staff has moved to the newly opened Salt Lake location. The 20,000 square foot building is currently home to 100 employees. The best bit is that the new studio also appears to be hiring, for those of you who are interested.

If you're wondering what you can do during your free time in Salt Lake City besides getting hammered every night, you can always go skiing, right?
