EA Says BF3 can Keep Players from Switching Over to MW3

In an interview with IGN, EA’s executive vice president Patric Soderlund had quite a few things to say about the whole Battlefield 3/Modern Warfare 3 rivalry.

“We all respect what Call of Duty brings and what they’re going to come with, and I think that we have an industry-leading multiplayer game that will make people want to stay with us, frankly,” Soderlund said.

“If you look at all the reviews that we’ve gotten, not a single one that I’ve seen has been negative towards the multiplayer. In fact, many state that the multiplayer is the multiplayer experience to have, the best in the world.

His comments do feel much more candid to ones we heard in the past from EA.

“And if I can continue to harness that and work on improving that and give the consumers more of that, then hopefully they’re going to feel loyal to us and stay.”

Well there you have it. If you’re a Battlefield 3 player, do you feel satisfied enough to stick with EA?

You don't get more international than that, and his weird cultural background is reflected in his favorite games, which range from Final Fantasy to Bit Trip Runner to Dead Space to Deus Ex!
