EA Sports announced that it has added two fighters to it’s ever expanding roster. Interestingly enough, one of them appeared in EA Sports’ rival, THQ’s UFC Undisputed 2009. Dan “Hendo” Henderson will be making an appearance in the game. Henderson was last seen fighting on July 11th at UFC 100. He won Knockout of the Night honors when he blasted Michael Bisping into oblivion with an overhand right. I would have to assume that EA would put him in as welterweight and light heavyweight as he is the only person to hold two titles in two different weight classes in a major MMA Promotion (PRIDE FC).
The other fighter is a rising star in MMA, Tyron Woodley. Woodley, currently sports a perfect 6-0 record, with all of his wins coming from submission. Woodley was a two-time All- American wrestler for the University of Missouri, so going to the ground is natural for him. His most recent victory was over Rudy Bears with a triangle choke in the first.
