Being the cover athlete for a major sports franchise isn't as big of a deal for players as winning a championship or an MVP trophy. That said, it is an accomplishment that signifies they're one of the best athletes in their field. Today, EA revealed two of the cover stars for FIFA 20. Check out the

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">announcement below.

Eden Hazard is having a very busy summer. The Belgian winger made waves when he transferred to Spanish super club Real Madrid for 130 million euros. Hazard joins a stacked lineup that surely has head coach Zinedine Zidane salivating with anticipation. As always, Real Madrid will be incredibly dangerous in FIFA, especially with Hazard up top. Hazard feels like a perfect choice for the FIFA 20 Standard Edition.

Virgil van Dijk joined Liverpool in 2018 and immediately helped lead them to a Champions League win. He's established himself as one of the best defenders in the world, making him a great choice for the FIFA 20 Champions Edition. EA has said they're greatly improving defending this season and if anyone can show that off in motion, it's van Dijk.

We still don't know who will be on the cover of the Ultimate Edition. Someone like Kylian Mbappe, of course, makes sense, as would Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. That said, with the focus on the new Volta mode this year, I would say a legend like Ronaldinho makes sense. Unfortunately, he has a deal with Pro Evolution Soccer, so he and his unreal touch are off the table. Hopefully, we'll know more in a few days.

FIFA 20 will be out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 27. A Legacy Edition will come to Nintendo Switch the same day.
