Pokemon GO Best Eevee Evolutions - All Eeveelutions Ranked for 2021
Eevee is one of the most beloved Pokemon in the whole series and has some of the best evolutions across the games.
With Pokemon GO players regularly question which of Eevee’s evolutions, or Eeveelutions, are the best for PVP combat.
Here, with the help from PVPoke, we’ve figured out which of these Eeveelutions you want to be focusing on and which you want to avoid.
Check out our rankings below.
Perhaps rather surprisingly, Espeon comes in at rock bottom.
Although the Psychic-type evolution definitely has some use in the PVE meta, in PVP its pretty useless.
It ranks as the 669th best choice in the Great League, 473rd in the Ultra League and 323rd in the Master League.
If you’ve got a high IV Eevee you’re looking to use in PVP, I’d steer away from Espeon.
One of the original three Eeveelutions, Flareon doesn’t fare too well in the PVP meta and certainly has less of a place in the PVE one than Espeon.
However, as these are the PVP rankings, Flareon just pips its Psychic relative.
Flareon comes in at 653rd in the Great League, 425th in the Ultra and 285th in the Master League.
Following its Gen 1 counterpart Flareon, Jolteon comes in at a disappointing sixth place, failing to make a splash in any of the PVP leagues.
While it fares significantly better than the previous two, it still puts in a lacklustre performance.
466th in Great League, 320th in Ultra league and 200th in Master League.
You guessed it, skip.
Leafeon is probably the final Eeveelution that should be outright skipped when it comes to Pokemon GO’s PVP modes.
It fails to make an impression in any of the three major leagues, coming in at 331st in the Great League, 275th in the Ultra League and 198th in the Master League.
Now we’ve reached the section of the list in which the Eeveelutions have some PVP viability.
Glaceon performs badly in the Great League and slightly better in the Ultra League, placing in 454th and 144th respectively, however, it shines in the Master League.
Thanks to the abundance of Dragon-types and their weakness to Ice, Glaceon comes in at a very respectable 30th place in the most hard-hitting PVP league.
Although Vaporeon doesn’t hit Glaceon’s lofty heights of 30th place in any league, it has a better average across the three divisions.
It lands in 197th place in the Great League, 226th in Ultra and 99th in Master.
Probably not really useable in any of the divisions, but still relatively respectable rankings.
There’s not a lot separating the top two, however, Umbreon just falls a little short when compared to the winner.
In both the Great and Ultra Leagues, Umbreon puts in a great performance, coming in at 29th and 21st respectively, hence why you’ve probably seen a few when battling.
Umbreon’s biggest downfall, unfortunately, is in the Master League where it plummets to 240th position.
Sylveon was only introduced to Pokemon GO in May but has instantly topped the best Eevee evolutions chart.
While it is outperformed by Umbreon in both the Great (130th) and Ultra (91st) Leagues, Sylveon shines in the Master League.
Much like Glaceon, Sylveon’s Fairy typing helps it decimate the Dragon-types, bringing it into 21st place overall.
And there we have it, the best Eevee evolutions in Pokemon GO as of June 2021. It will be interesting to see how Niantic shakes the meta up going forward.
