Builds in Elden Ring are made of various customizable combinations. Bleed Build combinations consist of specific statistics, armor, weapons, and other things the player deems useful on their journeys through treacherous exploration and devastating boss fights. There is no right or wrong way to play Elden Ring, including builds. Every build is unique to the player and offers dynamic choices and alternatives to someone’s PvP and PvE playstyles. And Bleed build is known to be a guaranteed “right” decision in Elden Ring.

In terms of combination, Bleed Builds combines both physical damages, blood loss from enemies, and the stats of the player's character. Bleed has virtually no competition with other builds, considering its overpowered usage in damage output per second. Bleed builds are supposed to kill enemies as fast as possible by drastically draining their blood. In no time, a few hits will equate to an enemy bursting into a deluge of its blood. Using weapons that allow for quick jabs will be extremely useful because this build focuses on deteriorating an enemy’s HP with as few hits as possible. In this list, we’ll be uncovering which equipment will work best with bleed builds.

Weapons

Best Weapons Elden Ring Bleed Build

All the weapons listed below are exceptional for the bleed build for their unique reasons. The Uchigatana is the least effective, while the Rivers of Blood is the most deadly.

1. Uchigatana

The Uchigatana is a katana that’s perfect for slashing and piercing through enemies. If players choose to use the Uchigatana, it’s good to consider some pairing options, as it is not necessarily the most effective when it comes to the bleed build. Players can infuse the Uchigatana to make it a blood variant. Pairing it with another katana or a twinblade would utilize this build more productively.

Players can also pair the Uchigatana with another one of the weapons in this list, such as the Rivers of Blood. The blood loss build-up accumulates 45 hemorrhages. Players can acquire the Uchigatana by starting in a Samurai Class, which gives players this weapon automatically. Alternatively, players can find this weapon within the Deathtouched Catacombs in Stormhill, Limgrave. The katana will be atop a corpse on a platform.

2. Godskin Peeler

The Godskin Peeler is a twinblade and makes for a perfect weapon for melee players. It has a sickle-like design made to jab into an enemy’s flesh. The Godskin Peeler is like the Uchigatana with its effectiveness with the bleed build and is best paired with other weapons such as a twinblade or a katana. The bleed build per-hit is over 120 with its +25 blood affinity and 40 arcane. Players can find this weapon after it is dropped by Godskin Apostle in Windmill Village, Altus Plateau.

3. Eleanora’s Poleblade

Eleanora’s Poleblade is a twinblade that causes intense blood-loss buildup. This weapon’s attacks are impressively fast and quicker than any other weapon on this list. This weapon’s accumulative blood-loss buildup is at 55 and is highly recommended for those wanting to utilize bleed builds.

Eleanora’s Poleblade’s weapon skill is Bloodblade Dance, which inflicts serious staggering damage and triggers buffs from other weapons such as the Winged Sword Insignia and the Thorny Cracked Tear. Players can find this weapon after defeating Eleanora, Violet Bloody Finger, in the Second Church of Marika.

4. Rivers Of Blood

Rivers of Blood is a powerful katana with pronounced capabilities in inflicting Pierce and Slash attacks. Moreover, it is especially brutal against enemies with the bleed build. This weapon is particularly reliable due to its weapon skill - Corpse Piler. Corpse Piler causes the katana to glide by spewing cursed blood in every stroke with successive attacks.

This weapon skill deals with physical and fire damage with blood buildup per hit. Players can find the Rivers of Blood after defeating Bloody Finger Okina close to the Church of Repose within the eastern area of the Mountaintops of the Giants.

Talismans

Best Talismans Elden Ring Bleed Build

Talismans in Elden Ring accentuate special effects to the player, buffing various attacks and stats. These Talismans, in particular, are extremely useful when paired with the weapons in the list above. The Claw Talisman is the least effective, while the Lord of Blood's Exultation is the most effective when it comes to the bleed build.

1. Claw Talisman

The Claw Talisman increases the player’s jump attack damage by 15%. This Talisman is useful to devastate enemies faster and with fewer jump attacks to get critical hits. Players can find the Claw Talisman in Stormveil Castle, atop a dead body on a watchtower.

2. Winged Sword Insignia

The Winged Sword Insignia increases a player’s attack power with every successive hit. Equipping twinblades and using this Talisman is especially useful, considering twinblades concentrate on successive attacks. Players can find the Winged Sword Insignia in Stillwater Cave after defeating the Cleanrot Knight.

3. Shard of Alexander

The Shard of Alexander significantly increases a player’s attack power by 15%. This Talisman is highly recommended to use if players want to equip Eleanora’s Blade or the Rivers of Blood, as both of those weapons’ Weapon Skills are greatly enhanced by the Shard of Alexander. Players can find the Shard of Alexander when Iron Fist Alexander drops it upon finishing his quest line.

4. Erdtree’s Favor

Erdtree’s Favor increases a player’s max Stamina, HP, and Equip Load. There are three variations of Erdtree’s Favor – the base, +1, and +2. To summarize, the Base variation provides the lowest percentages of boosts while the +2 variant provides the highest percentage. This Talisman offers more of a utilitarian use compared to other items on this list.

Players can find each variation of the Erdtree’s Favor in three different locations depending on where they’re attempting to find it. The Base is located at Fringefolk Hero’s Grave, the +1 is at the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, and the +2 variant is in Leyndell, Ashen Capital.

5. Lord of Blood’s Exultation

Lord of Blood’s Exultation increases a player’s attack power by 20% for a total of 20 seconds whenever Blood Loss ensues. This talisman is by far the best to use for the bleed build for its fixation on Blood Loss and its incredible 20% attack power boost.

This effect triggers if the player uses Seppuku or suffers from blood loss themselves. Moreover, it's also automatically triggered whenever the player is fighting against Mohg throughout any of his boss fights. Players can find the Lord of Blood’s Exultation after being dropped by Esgar, the Priest of Blood, in Leyndell Catacombs.

Crystal Tears

Best Armor and Crystal Tears Elden Ring Bleed Build

Crystal Tears are meant to be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick to create special effects, similar to the way a Talisman works. One of the many perks to Crystal Tears is that they stay in New Game+.

1. Leaden Hardtear

The Leaden Hardtear increases a player’s poise to the max after it has been mixed with Flask of Wondrous Physick. This Crystal Tear will allow players to endure some of the most devastating attacks throughout Elden Ring. It essentially reacts like faux hyper-armor, blocking stuns from various types of damage levels for a short but sweet 10 seconds. This is a fantastic Crystal Tear when a player knows they’ll get interrupted by a heavy or fast-hitting enemy. Players can find the Leaden Hardtear after Ulcerated Tree Spirit drops it in Mt. Gelmir.

2. Dexterity-Knot Tear

The Dexterity Knot-Tear increases dexterity for a temporary amount of time after being mixed with Flask of Wonderous Physick. After use, players have +10 Dexterity for 3 minutes. This Crystal Tear is great to use regardless of the bleed build. Players can find the Dexterity-Knot Tear atop a little island at Liurnia of the Lakes, located southwest of Boilprawn Shack.

Armor

Though there's only one piece of armor under our armor list, it greatly amplifies the bleed build.

1. White Mask

The White Mask is a helm, part of the War Surgeon Armor Set. It’s lightweight and has a particularly good balance between Magical and Physical defense. Moreover, the player’s attack power is increased by 10% for a total of 20 seconds after blood loss is imposed on an enemy while wearing the White Mask. To increase the effects of bleed build even further, acquiring and equipping the White Mask will come into great use. Its impact on the bleed build is like the way Lord of Blood’s Exultation functions.

Moreover, it ends up well with the previous Talisman on this list. However, defeating Mohg, Lord of Blood, will immediately lock players from being able to acquire the mask along with the rest of the War Surgeon Set. Players can find this helm upon defeating one of the Nameless White Mask NPC invaders within the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum, northwest of Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.
