This weapon comes with the unique skill Gold Breaker and cannot be infused with other ashes of war. For those who fought Marika time and time again, this ability is a direct attack used by the boss. It deals excellent AOE damage and a high amount of both holy and physical damage.

Faster High Physical and Holy Damage

Player Holding Golden Halberd
  • Requirements: 30 Strength, 14 Dexterity, 12 Faith.
  • When fully upgraded: B scaling from Stregnth, D from Dexterity, and D from Faith.

Halberds in Soulsborne games have always been a step above the rest. They are perfect for many situations with good reach, strong base damage, and creatively quick attacks. The Golden Halberd never gets an incredible Faith scale but maintains a "D" through all upgrades.

Its higher strength modifier makes it a strong option for Strength/Faith builds. Its Ash of War is Golden Vow, a great incantation that boosts your attack and defense. This Ash also affects allies around you, making it a great bonus to an already great weapon.

  • When fully upgraded: E scaling from Strength, D from Dexterity, and D from Faith.

While some bows rely on special arrows to add an elemental affinity to each shot, the Erdtree bow takes care of that for every shot. Having a bow that adds Holy affinity to every arrow can make even weak arrows suddenly become much more helpful.

Bow builds can usually be expensive as you spend your runes on different arrows, but this bow allows you to buy general arrows and use them as if they are unique. Like many bows, Erdtree's special ability is Mighty Shot. While this skill is general, it can do massive damage when utilized correctly and is a great way to start an encounter.

Boss Maliketh Weilding Maliketh's Black Blade
  • Requirements: 34 Strength, 12 Dexterity, and 20 Faith.
  • When fully upgraded: B scaling from Strength, D from Dexterity, and B from Faith.

Starting at a scaling of "D," Maliketh's Black Blade can be upgraded to scale off Strength and Faith with a 'B." Its already high base damages can lead to incredible combined damage when this weapon is obtainable later in the game.

This weapon's unique skill, Destined Death, is like an attack from its former owner. The blade swings with Holy damage around the player, eventually stabbing the group for an AOE of a black vortex. This skill not only briefly lowers your enemy's Max HP but also drains their health for a short time.

5 Gargoyle's Blackblade

Good Physical And Higher Holy Damage

Player Approaching Black Blade Kindred Boss
  • Requirements: 18 Strength, 10 Dexterity, and 22 Faith.
  • When fully upgraded: C scaling from Strength, D from Dexterity, and D from Faith.

While this weapon may not be your end-game pick, it is easily obtained much earlier and does substantial damage. It doesn't scale very well, and only its strength scaling goes up a letter, but this weapon has massive base physical and Holy damage for an early-game alternative to the rest of the weapons in this list.

Corpse Wax Cutter is a unique skill for this weapon. After slamming the sword in front, a vertical beam of Holy damage rolls out in front of the player. This can be especially helpful, giving you an early-game ranged Holy attack.

  • When fully upgraded: E scaling from Strength, D from Dexterity, and B from Faith.

This weapon's unique ability, Establish Order, is a two-part Holy avalanche on unsuspecting enemies. Its initial action is a golden explosion of holy damage, followed by blades of golden energy launched from the sword at the target. The weapon is a sword of light that snowballs with a pure faith build.

3 Winged Scythe

Good Physical & High Holy Damage With Bleed

Player Holding Winged Scythe
  • Requirements: 16 Strength, 16 Dexterity, and 24 Faith.
  • When fully upgraded: D scaling from Strength, C from Dexterity, and C from Faith.

While this is another reaper that deals hemorrhage damage and is primarily Holy damage, the WInged Scythe has a few differences, putting it much higher on this list. Basic attacks with this weapon ignore 40% of all damage to an enemy who is blocking. This can help quickly turn the tides in PVP if your opponent is getting too comfy behind their shield.

The unique skill - Angel's Wings - is noteworthy and an incredibly popular spectacle. Allowing the player to leap into the air and dive toward a target with a sweeping attack is something that should be coming from a boss. This weapon is highly recommended for those who dislike armored enemies or those who like to close the gap between themselves and foes quickly.

2 Godslayers Greatsword

High Physical Damage And Good Fire Damage

Player With Godslayer Greatsword Over Their Shoulder

This weapon is a must-have if you are making a dexterity/faith build. This sword can do incredible damage with high base stats and scaling from Dexterity and Faith. This weapon also has faster attacks than other greatswords of its size, allowing for some quickest and most devastating greatsword attacks.

The Unique Skill, the Queen's Black Flame, not only further boosts the fire damage but also leaves a lasting effect. After being hit by the black flames, they continue to burn the target and do further damage for a short time after the initial hit. If you time your casts correctly, this will maximize the additional damage of these black flames.

1 Blasphemous Blade

Decent Ranged Physical And Fire Damage

Player Blocking With Blasphemous Blade
  • Requirements: 22 Strength, 15 Dexterity, and 21 Faith.
  • When fully upgraded: C scaling from Strength, C from Dexterity, and B from Faith.

Health management is an essential part of Elden Ring, and with Faith build, you are given a few more options on how to stay fully healed. The Blasphemous Blade not only has very high base damage and high scaling of Faith for its fire damage but kills with this sword to regenerate your own HP.

Each kill with this weapon just equipped gives the player 4% of their base health, and Elden Ring's open world is full of easy mobs of enemies to wipe out for your healing. The unique skill of Taker's Flame furthers the life-stealing capability. Igniting the sword with fire and slamming it to the ground sends a blast of pure fire damage. Any enemy touched by this blast (even if not killed) heals you.
