Elden Ring fans would be elated to know that the game could be getting an arena-based multiplayer mode in the future.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you might be well aware of what a sensation Elden Ring has been. After getting widely acclaimed by critics, the game was released a few days ago and fans just can't stop praising the game. Although From Software has always delivered with its Souls games, when it comes to Elden Ring, it has undoubtedly made one of the best games of all time.

At launch, we do have cooperative multiplayer supported in the game, as well as invasion-based PvP game mode. While the former makes it quite easy for players to take down tough bosses, such as the likes of Radahn, the latter put their skill to the utmost test by going up against players all across the world. While all that is pretty good, many were wondering if we could get an arena-based thing in the future, and it seems like their speculations could actually turn out to be true.

If you are an avid Soulsborne player, you might have definitely heard about Lance Mcdonald. The Soulsborne modder is well known for making the 60 FPS mod for Bloodborne, as well as giving us some insights into a variety of games. Today, Lance posted a video showcasing a Colosseum in Elden Ring which in all likelihood looks like an arena for multiplayer.

Whether this will be added as a DLC or just via future update is something that can't be said for sure. But the fact that the area still exists in the final build of the game and has not been omitted is something that strongly suggests we should be getting this in the future.
