No more delays, no more leaks, Elden Ring has officially gone gold as FromSoftware gear up for the highly anticipated launch next month.

Elden Ring was originally scheduled to release on January 21st, 2022 but was delayed as the depth and strategic freedom of the game reportedly exceeded the developer's expectations. Elden Ring Officially Goes Gold Ahead of Release

During the Taipei Game Show 2022, FromSoftware confirmed that Elden Ring is ready for release and a "master version" has already been submitted for approval.

Although the most anticipated title of the year was previously delayed by a month, producer Yashiro Kitao confirmed that fans can rest assured, Elden Ring is ready to go on sale at the end of next month.

FromSoftware also said that all of the comments and requests from the Closed Network Test back in November have been taken into account as further refinements continue to be worked on for the day one patch.

Specific details of what exactly has changed from the Closed Network Test, or what's included in the day one patch, weren't revealed. However, alongside the massive news that Elden Ring has gone golden, Kitao also revealed that the game can be completed within around 30 hours. He went on to say that "the game as a whole is quite massive and contains many dozens more hours worth of gameplay but if we are talking about the main route only, it shouldn't take much longer than that".
