Elden Ring Leaked Gameplay Reveals Part of the Open World

October 16, 2021

Elden Ring is one of the most awaited game releases of 2022 as it’s the new JRPG by FromSoftware, the developers of Armored Core and the Dark Souls series, and a new gameplay video has been leaked this October 16.

First things first, keep in mind this leaked gameplay video is incredibly short. Don’t get your hopes up. Secondly, this is a test build, not representative of the final game. It’s unknown where the gameplay was leaked from. We don’t know which platform is running this Elden Ring footage either.

Leaked open world gameplay of Elden Ring surfaces

Elden Ring features a vast open world. The player character can explore the map with their spectral steed, the ghost horse seen in trailers. The open world is seamlessly connected to several dungeons.

We can get a glimpse of the massive aspect of this open world in this leaked footage. Plus, the map of Elden Ring has a world tree-like structure towering over it inspired by Berserk. You can spot it too in the leaked gameplay.

You can find the video below. The leaked gameplay video first popped up on Twitter, with reuploads on YouTube.

Elden Ring is the biggest JRPG release in early 2022, and the next most awaited JRPG after Shin Megami Tensei V releasing this November. Plus, dark themes and elements are both part of the identities of these games.

Elden Ring is launching on January 21, 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. I’m on Twitter @A_iyane07 if you want to discuss the game or its inspirations.
