Elden Ring has been one of the most anticipated games for a while now. After the initial announcement, there was quite a bit of silence around the game, much to the disappointment of fans. Eventually, the community started wondering if the game was canceled, which was turned down by From Software later on.

Recently, a trailer of the game was leaked which revealed a lot of information about what fans can expect from Elden Ring. From fire-breathing dragons to horse-riding, the leak raised the hype for the game quite significantly.

Elden Ring Release Date Announcement Might Be Coming Soon

If the latest rumor is to be believed, then we might be getting an Elden Ring announcement very soon. This comes from verified From Software insider Omnipotent (u/miyahedi21), who has quite a good record with leaks in the past. He shares a picture of a car side glass, with the phrase "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" written on it, and the mirror showing Elden Ring's logo.

This might be quite good news for fans, who have been quite disappointed in the past few days as various rumors suggested that we might not be getting Elden Ring at E3. Quite credible of all was Jeff Grubb's remarks on the same, as he has been quite accurate with these leaks in the past.

If Elden Ring is indeed closer to launch, it will be interesting to see what form of announcement fans will get. At this point, it is highly unlikely that From Software will just release another gameplay video or trailer, and a release date announcement is what several leaks are pointing towards. With just a few days to go for a number of gaming events to kick-off, it remains to be seen whether we actually get an Elden Ring.
