It's fair to say that Elden Ring fans are ready to spontaneously combust as we countdown the final days until the release of the most anticipated game of the year.

Like many games releasing in a post-COVID-19 world, Elden Ring faced a short delay at the end of last year. Originally scheduled for a January 21st, 2022 release, Elden Ring was pushed back by a month to a new date of February 25th, 2022.

Whether you're in the UK, US, Australia, or New Zealand, here's everything you need to know about the official Elden Ring release time for all supported platforms.

Elden Ring Release Time In UK, US, Australia, and New Zealand

The official release date for Elden Ring is Friday, February 25th, 2022. Depending on your platform of choice, the official release time may vary.

For most console users around the world on either Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5, the official Elden Ring release time is MIDNIGHT in your local timezone. However, those on the west coast will have a release time of 9PM PT on February 24th, whilst those in Central Time will gain access at 11PM CT on February 24th. Any other console user around the world will have access at MIDNIGHT in your local timezone.

The release time for Elden Ring on PC will follow a slightly different release pattern, full details of which can be found below:

  • February 24th - 3PM PT
  • February 24th - 5PM CT
  • February 24th - 6PM ET
  • February 24th - 11PM GMT
  • February 25th - 10AM AEDT
  • February 25th - 12PM NZDT

How To Pre-Load Elden Ring

For those that have pre-ordered, pre-loading for Elden Ring is available right now for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S users. Simply head to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox console to start downloading the game ready for release.

Pre-loading for PlayStation and PC is currently unavailable, but will begin 48 hours prior to the release time in your region.
