It's been months since Elden Ring was officially launched and we have seen many incredible things done by gamers in The Lands Between so far. But, what about the world record for a no-hit speedrun? Well, here comes your hero!

Ainrun, a Twitch streamer and a well-known speedrunner of FromSoftware titles, recently managed to finish Elden Ring in just 2.5 hours, which is already an outstanding achievement, but what makes it even more unique is the fact that the speedrunner didn't even take a single hit in the entire game, completing the run at the base character level.

But that's still not the end to this glorious achievement. While many speedrunners skip it, Ainrun didn't hesitate to fight against Grafted Scion and defeat this tricky boss as well. So, in many ways, this speedrun is something special worthy of a huge celebration.

Behind this successful achievement, however, there were failed attempts, but Ainrun never gave up until he managed to achieve this world record.

If you haven't heard of Ainrun, the streamer has been doing speedruns in FromSoftware games since 2020, starting off with Dark Souls 1.

In a recent interview with Kotaku, Ainrun said that he had spent a lot of time on Elden Ring, trying to learn more about bosses and take advantage of every opening to defeat Grafted Scion quickly. Ainrun added the fact that some speedrunners skipped this boss motivated him to figure out a way to defeat the infamous boss faster.

Now, don't lose hope if you still have not finished Elden Ring yet. There is definitely a simple and obvious rule behind all these speedruns and that's practice. If you want to finish the game easier, you need to practice, learn from your mistakes, and try to cover them. There is no magic behind any speedrun. So, if other people can do it, then you can surely do it as well.

Similar to previous FromSoftware titles, Elden Ring also received huge attention from speedrunners, making the game a new playground for veteran gamers to prove their skills and challenge themselves in a new way.
