Zenimax Online Studios has announced that the The Elder Scrolls Online is receiving a Free Play Weekend on the PS4 and PC starting November 16th.

Kicking off November 16th, at 12:01 AM EST (1:00PM EST on PC), you’ll be able to begin downloading the game, which on the PS4 is a whopping 73 GB.

Upon downloading and creating an ESO account, you’ll have access to the full The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game, not including DLC game pack areas. Further, once your account is created, you’ll receive 500 crowns to spend in the Crown Store.

After the Free Play Weekend ends on November 20th at 11:59 PM EST on PS4 (November 21st 1:00 PM EST on the PC). Any characters you create, Crown Packs, or Crown Store items you purchase, as well as any progress you make during the Free Play Weekend will carry over if and when you purchase the game.

In celebration of the Free Play Weekend, Zenimax Online Studios is also offering discounts on Crown Packs and all versions of the game through Monday, November 28th. Specifics of the discounts were not provided.

As for Xbox One players, Zenimax has said it has an ESO Free Play Weekend in the works just for Xbox One players, though no further details were divulged.
