Back at E3 2018, Bethesda went all out. They revealed brand new IP Starfield alongside a tease for The Elder Scrolls VI.

Unfortunately, at the following year's show, the pair were absent from what would turn out to be Bethesda's final solo E3 conference before the $8 billion Microsoft acquisition.

However, E3 2021 is now upon us, presenting Microsoft and Bethesda the opportunity to give the game its big reveal.

So, with that in mind, here's whether we thing The Elder Scrolls VI will be at E3 2021.

The Elder Scrolls VI - The Story So Far

As previously mentioned, The Elder Scrolls VI was revealed three years ago this month.

The title, like Starfield, is being developed on a new version of Bethesda's engine.

The two games were revealed alongside each other and Bethesda has made it abundantly clear that Starfield is much further along in development than The Elder Scrolls VI.

Will The Elder Scrolls VI Be At E3 2021?

So, my gut feeling is that we'll see something from The Elder Scrolls VI. Whether that's in the form of gameplay, a cinematic or just a name reveal, that remains to be seen. I do think it will be there in some capacity though.

However, while the game may appear at E3 in some form, I wouldn't expect a release date.

Just last year, when questioned about the game, Bethesda's Pete Hines stated “if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations.”

This line alone is enough to indicate that, while we may see TES VI, it's probably still quite a way away.
