During their recent call with investors, Electronic Arts answered some questions related to the recent financial situation of their company and the games that they plan on releasing in the near future. There are six titles that will be released within the timeframe of Q4 2012. The three that we are familiar with include Sim City, Dead Space 3, and Crysis 3.

Douglas Creutz of the Cowen and Company firm asked the publisher for clarification regarding the titles they plan to release this holiday season, as well as in Q1 2013. “There are [six] titles scheduled for Q4,” responded EA’s Kenneth Barker, “[three] of which we’ve announced and are provided in our schedules.” EA’s John S. Riccitiello added that, “Gamescom is when [EA does] most of the rest of the unveiling. So we choose the major consumer shows as opposed to our quarterly financial results to announce titles.”

Those of you out there hoping for Bad Company 3 or Mirror’s Edge 2; no one will hold it against you if you get your hopes up. Gamescom will be held in Cologne, Germany, and is scheduled to run from August 15th to 18th, 2012.
