During Electronic Arts’ quarterly financial conference call, Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen gave a very small glimpse on what could be the future of Star Wars: Battlefront.
Talking about the split between digital and physical sales, which leaned more than anticipated towards physical with Star Wars: Battlefront, Jorgensen mentioned that something similar could happen “when we do the next Battlefront,” but also clarified that the company has “no idea” on the exact timing.
Speaking of Star Wars, Jorgensen also hinted briefly to the game by Amy Hennig and Jade Raymond, which, as far as we know, is a Star Wars action adventure title. Apparently, it’s “a few years out,” so we might have to wait quite a bit to hear about it.
Lastly, Jorgensen mentioned that for future games Electronic Arts will be able to use the new characters and vehicles from the new Star Wars movies. That does not include DLC of currently released games.
That said, if you want another Star Wars: Battlefront, looks like your wish will be granted down the line.
