You Can Now Create The Last of Us' Ellie in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Ellie from The Last of Us takes a break from the stress of her post-apocalyptic world to visit the tranquility of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Right now, there hasn’t been a more appropriate time than to dive into a relaxing, mindful game and thankfully, Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons has arrived to ease our anxious minds. It truly is a much-needed respite from all the negative news and the worrying situation we find ourselves in at the moment. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons which launched on the Nintendo Switch on March 20, you always have fun things to do and one of them is customizing yourself as your favorite post-apocalyptic savior Ellie from The Last of Us.

Twitter user Allie Heinitz has shown off their impressive creation of Ellie that they tailored using Animal Crossing‘s in-game customization tools. As we can see from the picture, they’ve made a pretty amazing attempt at crafting Ellie’s entire outfit from her famous red T-shirt all the way to her backpack. You’ll also notice that Allie has gone the extra mile to modify her character to have the same hair as Ellie’s and of course, not forgetting that well-known eyebrow scar.

If this is something you’d love to recreate yourself then you’re in luck as Allie has posted the QR code that they used – that’s if you’re not too tired after all the pooing that can you apparently do on your island now. If relaxing and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere isn’t your thing, then you could always build yourself a wrestling ring and duke it out with one of your unsuspecting friends maybe? Of course, you could go in the complete opposite direction and jump into the violent and chaotic world of DOOM Eternal – the choice is yours.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available right now for Nintendo Switch.
