E-Line Media released the first trailer for their game creator sim The Endless Mission, coming to Steam early access in summer 2018.

The trailer gives players a preview of what they can expect while playing The Endless Mission. However, the game’s systems and mechanics are a bit different in the sense that the genre is tough to pin down. Players will be able to choose from a handful of different games across multiple genres including, Kart Racer, Platformer, and Real Time Strategy. While playing the player can acquire access from the respective game and mix them up to create their own unique game using the levels and character from the aforementioned genres.

Additionally, the trailer eludes to the game’s story which is being crafted by a team of writers at Sleep Deprivation Lab, whose credits include Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Crew. The game aims to explore what it means to shape the technology in our lives versus being shaped by it.

Lastly, the trailer briefly shows how players will be able to edit the game’s code and physics of the character to make the jump further distances or grow in size.

The Endless Mission will also be playable at PAX East.
