The long-awaited and highly-anticipated space exploration game No Man’s Sky is on the horizon, and just before the game’s release next week you can get an early listen at the game’s surreal, experiential soundtrack from the composing team at 65daysofstatic.

In an interview with The Independent, 65daysofstatic provided a stream from their upcoming album No Man’s Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe, which offers the first disc of the double-album and ten tracks from the game’s soundtrack.

The full soundtrack will be comprised of the 10-track collection by 65daysofstatic, which feature a more “traditional” song structure, while the second part of the album will feature soundscapes and ambient music that will play alongside players as they explore the galaxy.

No Man’s Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe will be released on August 5th, 2016, and is available to pre-order in a variety of physical formats (CD/vinyl) on the publisher Laced Records’ website, while digital versions can also be purchase through there or other online music retailers, such as iTunes and Amazon.

No Man’s Sky will release for PS4 on August 9th in the US and on August 10th in the UK in Europe, while the PC version will release worldwide on August 12th, 2016. For more on the game’s soundtrack and music, you can also check out our full interview with 65daysofstatic’s Joe Shrewsbury.
