Izanagi Games officially announced Enzai Shikkou Yuugi Yurukill for PS4 and PC, with a 2020 release. A first key visual for the game was released as well, seen above. The game and its initial details were first revealed by Konami when listing its Tokyo Game Show 2019 plans. You can read all about that here.

Enzai Shikkou Yuugi Yurukill is an "Escape ADV", meaning a visual novel type of game with elements similar to things like the Zero Escape series. The originality about Yurukill is that it also includes Shmup gameplay. The Shmup parts are developed with G.Rev, the studio behind Senko no Ronde and Under Defeat.

Enzai Shikkou Yuugi Yurukill has an all-star staff. The scenario is handled by Kakegurui's author Homura Kawamoto. The character design is by Hiro Kiyohara, an illustrator known for the manga adaptations of Another, or for the chara design of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, which was one of the few great things about that game. Last but not least, Yurukill's OST is handled by Yuko Komiyama of the Monster Hunter series.

As we already explained in our previous story, since it is produced by Izanagi Games, Yurukill will definitely release outside Japan at some point. No announcement was made yet, however.

Yurukill's official Twitter has opened, and the game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2019, from September 12 to 15. The demo will only feature the Shmup gameplay parts, however.

A stage event for Izanagi Games featuring gameplay for Yurukill will also be held on September 13 at 12:30 JST (click here for time conversions). It'll feature Izanagi Games' CEO Shinsuke Umeda, Yuko Komiyama, and G.Rev representative Hiroyuki Maruyama.  Look forward to our schedule editorial listing similar streams, and to our TGS 2019 coverage coming this week.
